The Bannari Amman Institute of Technology (BIT) is an energetic and vibrant higher educational   institution   promoted   by   the   Bannari Amman Group, a leading corporate house in southern part of India.  BIT is a well-designed campus with state-of-the-art facilities.

     The institute offers 16 undergraduate programmes   and 15 postgraduates   programmes   and Ph.D. programmes in Engineering, Technology and Management.  The institution is accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ Grade.  BIT stood No.1 among the self-financing   colleges   in all India level in terms of industry institute partnership in a survey conducted by AICTE and CII and won the silver medal for the year 2012.  As a part of green   energy   generation   the institute has an installed capacity of 600kWp solar PV power generation.
